Wow what a mad session!
Finished at 4:30 so made the mad dash from Manchester city centre and was on the beach for 6PM.
1 Kitesurfer had jus come in and there were a coupla windsurfers out.
2 other kitesurfers were about to go out but 1 was overpowered on her 6m. I launched with my 9 and it musta been in a lull as it felt perfect to begin with.

Hit the water and the wind jus nuked. Blown off the water from the word go so it was justa case of trynna keep my ground. Any jumps turned into huge 5 second jumps. Only had a few runs before I decided to call it a day. Attempted to walk back to my launch point but it wasn't happening it was that windy so I perservered and eventually got my kite landed after having a few scary overpowered moments where I was being dragged towards some nasty looking groins.

The other kitesurfer came in soon after and he had the same problems where he was fully depowered being dragged towards the groins. Jo turned up shortly ater eager to get out but he had second thoughts when he saw how windy it was.

I now know the limits of my 9m Trix, 35 knots is the maximum really and anything over becomes suicidal.
Today was a windsurfing day
Mental!
